Maples Crossing Co-Ed Indoor Softball League Rules

Equipment

Single-wall or wooden bats only (mandatory).
Can bring your own bat if wooden or single-wall.
12” Red Dot softballs will be used (final confirmation to follow).

Team & Field Setup

10 players on the field at all times
Minimum of 3 female players on the field at all times.

Game Format

Games are 7 innings or 1 hour, whichever comes first.

Game Play

Each at-bat begins with a 1 ball / 1 strike count.
With 2 strikes: One foul ball is allowed (“one to give”).
A second foul ball results in an out.

Mercy Rule

If a team is ahead by 10 runs after 5 innings, the game will end.

Officiating

One umpire will be provided for each game.
