Youth FIELD HOCKEY

Kick off Thanksgiving weekend on the turf. Momentum Fit Studio + Community and Maples Crossing are hosting the first-ever Turkey Turf Classic, a youth field hockey tournament that brings together young athletes from surrounding communities for a day of competition, teamwork, sportsmanship and fun.

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, November 28, 2026
• Time: 11 AM to 7 PM
• Where: Maples Crossing, 12 South Hunt Rd, Amesbury, MA
• Who: Girls teams, beginner and intermediate
• Age Divisions: Grades 3–4, Grades 5–6, Grades 7–8
• Cost: $350 per team

We require one designated adult registers and pays for the team, with individual player waivers completed by parents or guardians.

Girls can create teams with friends, choose team names, and represent their communities.

Town-based names are encouraged but not required. Mixed-town teams would be welcome, and multiple teams from the same town could participate.

Each player may participate on only one tournament roster.

Game Format:

• 5v5 small-sided field hockey
• No goalkeepers
• Five to seven registered players per team
• One adult coach required per team
• Four 20-minute games guaranteed per team
• Approximately five-minute transitions between games
• Unlimited substitutions from designated substitution areas
• Players must wear goggles, mouthguard and shin guards

Momentum Player Zone & Give Back

Dedicated area that will feature optional activites between games, supported by local businesses and community sponsors.

Momentum Youth Sports Access Initiative - a portion of every registration will go towards helping local children participate in Momentum's youth sports, fitness, and confidence-building programs through reduced-cost or scholarship opportunities.

How to Register

1. Coaches will register the team
2. **Coaches must register their team before registering individual players, including their child.**
3. After registering, go to "My Team" in your Bond profile and share the invite link with your players.
4. Coaches submit team payment before the tournament.
