Meet Meagan Hildebrand
Visionary Impact: Meag's Path to Success
Meagan Hildebrand is the former varsity field hockey coach at Georgetown High School where she was named CAL Coach of the Year in 2020 & 2022. She served seven seasons there, bringing the team to the farthest point in the State Tournament that has been seen to date in program history.
Previously, Hildebrand served as the Defense and Goalie Coach for Merrimack College Field Hockey. In her tenure there, the team boasted a 73-27 record, two NE-10 conference titles, and four NCAA appearances, her final season being the program's first trip to the NCAA Championship game in program history. Hildebrand coached 11 Merrimack players to NCAA All American status.
Hildebrand was part of the Masconomet Regional High School field hockey team’s coaching staff from 2006-2010, serving as head coach for one season before making the move to the collegiate level.
Hildebrand is the director for both the Nike Field Hockey Camps at Georgetown HS and now Maples Crossing, and has spent decades coaching at the Nike Blue Dog Camp at Endicott College. She has spent many years involved with coaching in both the Bay State game as well as the USA Field Hockey Futures program (Nexus).
Hildebrand graduated from Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt., in 2006 with a degree in Secondary Education and English. She also obtained her Master of Arts degree in English from Salem State University in 2015, and her CAGS in Leadership from the University of New England in 2018.
As an undergraduate at Saint Michael’s, Hildebrand (then McCarthy) was a four-year member of the Purple Knights’ field hockey team while serving as a captain in her senior season. She earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior. Hildebrand was selected to the NCAA Division II All-American second team as a senior. In 2005, Hildebrand was selected to play on the United States College National Team, and she captained the team as it toured Italy to compete.
